South Asian Unity Parade Inc. is a community organization based in Jackson Heights, New York. Our mission is to bring together South Asian communities through culture, heritage, music, dance, public service, and unity.
The parade celebrates the rich traditions of Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Nepal, Bhutan, Maldives, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, and the South Asian diaspora in the United States.
This year’s event highlights Bangladeshi culture while welcoming the full South Asian community to march together in friendship, respect, and pride.
